Buying a weekend villa as an investment

A weekend villa may have been an elusive dream for most of the previous generation and may have been viewed as an avoidable luxury by most of the earlier generation. Several categories and segments of buyers are now looking at investing in these projects for dual purposes, i.e. garnering lucrative returns in future and secondly, creating a second home for oneself where tranquility, relaxation and comfort rule the roost. Taking off for a weekend or two becomes more personal and intimate courtesy vacation homes like these. These are reasons spurring the growth of this segment and developers are certainly pulling out the red carpet for customers interested in acquiring a second home.
